TaoLi Future Group's Visit to Southeast Asia, Promoting High-Quality Development of International Chinese Education

Inspiring the love for Mandarin Chinese

From April 30th to May 7th, Chairman Fang Jinfeng of TaoLi Future Group, General Manager Jin Hui of TaoLi Future Group's Beijing Branch, General Manager Xie Junjie of TaoLi Chinese, and Liang Weiwei, head of the TaoLi Chinese Study in China Department, led a team of six from TaoLi Chinese to visit three countries in Southeast Asia.

During this visit, the TaoLi Future team was warmly welcomed by Mr. Han Zhiqiang, the Chinese Ambassador to Thailand, and Ms. Zhao Yanqing, Director of the Asian Office of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (Bangkok Center). Additionally, the team visited Confucius Institute and international schools in countries such as Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam, engaging in in-depth discussions and exchanges with various parties. They achieved a series of cooperative progress, contributing to the promotion of cultural and linguistic exchanges between China and foreign countries and the advancement of international Chinese education development.

Confucius Institute of the Royal Academy of Cambodia

On the evening of April 30th, the TaoLi Future team arrived in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, and began their itinerary for this Southeast Asian visit. On the morning of May 1st, the TaoLi Future team visited the Confucius Institute at the Royal Academy of Cambodia, where the Chinese director, Mr. Wang Feng, received the team members.

Director Wang Feng led the TaoLi Future team on a tour of the Confucius Institute at the Royal Academy and provided a detailed introduction to the development of the institute. The Royal Academy of Cambodia is equivalent to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and in 2009, President Xi personally unveiled the plaque for the Confucius Institute at the Royal Academy of Cambodia.

Following this, the two sides held a discussion on the current status and future cooperation of international Chinese education in Cambodia. Director Wang Feng introduced the current situation of Chinese education in Cambodia. Chairman Fang Jinfeng of TaoLi Future Group introduced the development and core business of TaoLi Chinese to the director.

After a brief introduction, further discussions and interactive Q&A sessions were conducted on potential areas of cooperation. The TaoLi Future team also invited Teacher Yang from the Confucius Institute to experience the TaoLi Smart Chinese Learning Machine and TaoLi APP on-site. Teacher Yang expressed that the learning resources of the learning platform are substantial and can meet the needs of Chinese learners very well.

The meeting concluded amid extensive discussions between the two sides. Next, both parties will continue to promote cooperation between the Confucius Institute at the Royal Academy of Cambodia and TaoLi Chinese, especially in the areas of app learning, smart Chinese learning platform, and study in China.

Thailand

Maritime Silk Road Confucius Institute

On the morning of May 3rd, the TaoLi Future team visited the Maritime Silk Road Confucius Institute and held a discussion with the Thai director, Zhang Chuxiong, dispatched teacher Yang Changjiang, the secretary of the Economics and Trade Chinese Department at Dhurakij Pundit University, Ms. Chun Lijuan, and local teacher Guo Yufeng.

Meeting Scene

Both sides explored the development and cooperation in the field of international Chinese education, and conducted discussions on topics such as scholarship establishment and cooperation in scientific and technological research and development. They also had in-depth and detailed exchanges on the cooperation mechanism in the study in China market.

Confucius Institute at BSRU

On the afternoon of May 3rd, the TaoLi Future team visited the Confucius Institute at BSRU. The Chinese director, Du Yining, warmly welcomed the team and held discussions with the entire faculty of the Confucius Institute.

After the meeting, Director Du Yining accompanied the TaoLi Future team to visit the Confucius Institute at BSRU and the Chinese library. Both sides exchanged gifts and took photos together. The visit of TaoLi Future further enhanced mutual understanding and friendship, and both sides will initiate more cooperation in the future, empowering Chinese education development with technology.

On the morning of May 4th, the TaoLi Future team visited the Asian Office of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (located in Bangkok, Thailand). Director Zhao Yanqing warmly welcomed the TaoLi Future team.

Director Zhao Yanqing pointed out that Thailand has the largest number of HSK exam takers globally, with over 100,000 candidates taking the HSK exam annually. Thailand's Chinese education market has tremendous potential, especially with the increasing number of Chinese enterprises investing in Thailand and the high demand for "Chinese + professional" technical talents.

On the morning of May 4th, Director Zhao Yanqing from the Asian Office of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, along with the TaoLi Future team, visited the Chinese Teachers(Thailand) Association and received a warm welcome from Chairman Luo Tieying (President of the Borthong Industries Estate).

It is the first Chinese international school in Thailand and has attracted widespread attention since its establishment. Confucius Institute at Hanoi University

On May 7th, the TaoLi Future team visited the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University. The Confucius Institute at Hanoi University was established in 2014 and has a history of 10 years.

During the discussion, Du Qingyun, the foreign director of the Confucius Institute, introduced the historical process of the Confucius Institute from its establishment to the present day, recalling the challenges and heart-warming moments along the way.

When talking about her experience attending the Foundation Confucius Institute Director Training Course, Wei Aiyun, the Chinese director of the Confucius Institute, said, "The pre-job training before coming to Vietnam is very important and I gained a lot."

During the discussion, both sides interacted sincerely and discussed how to work together to promote the development of Chinese education in Vietnam and contribute to the training of local Chinese teachers in Vietnam and the establishment of a platform for Vietnamese students to study in China.

After the meeting, Jin Hui, the General Manager of the Beijing Branch of TaoLi Future Group, presented YOYO, the mascot doll of TaoLi Chinese to Wei Aiyun, the Chinese director of the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University, on behalf of the team.

TaoLi Future Group has visited Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam, deepening exchanges with local institutions, and exploring new paths for international Chinese education and cultural exchanges with Confucius Institutes.

Through meetings with embassies, government agencies, Confucius Institutes, enterprises, and schools, TaoLi Future has achieved fruitful results, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation and demonstrating China's cultural confidence and openness. In the future, TaoLi Future will strive to promote the spread of Chinese culture in Southeast Asia and contribute to the prosperity and development of international Chinese education!
